Apple's latest release of its media software iTunes 4.9, now includes the ability to search for, subscribe and download your favorite podcast. Since podcasting's inception, late 2004, podcaster have established a pirate radio, public access kinda programing and a cult following. After the release of iTunes 4.9 the number of programs and listeners have increased tremendously. Podcasting has attracted mainstream media like NPR, CBS and Disney. Subscribers now have a conicopia of programs to choose from and can listen to them at their leisure. They are all free... for now.
