Third Day in Paris

After having a quick pastry for breakfast, we spent the morning at the Musee d'Orsay. Paris is home to the largest collection of art in a single city. It has become Mecca to art lovers and historians. Naturally, being an art history major, Jen was taken by Paris. She is especially fond of the Impressionist painter, Claude Monet, and all his works. The Musee d'Orsay comprises the largest collection of Impressionist paintings.

On the terrace outside the museum, boast wonderful views of Paris

Later that evening we took the Metro, and then up the funicular to Sacre Coeur. As we approached the church, a gust of wind began to blow and it started to rain. It seemed kinda eerie, it felt like something or someone wanted us to go inside. We entered and found a seat. Mass was in progress, but we couldn't understand because it was in French. We left after a few minutes to head back to our hotel. Funny thing...it didn't rain one bit on our way back.
