Seventh Day in Paris

On our last day in Paris we visited the Musee Marmottan Monet. This museum is home to largest collection of Monet paintings. After visiting Monet's gardens in Giverny it gave us a different perspective and appreciation of his works. Our visit to this museum topped off our journey.

We spent the rest of the day finishing up our souvenir shopping.

Later that evening, we had dinner at Dragon Elysee, a surreal restaurant off the Champs Elysee on a side street called Rue De Berri. We got a tip about this restaurant from our friend Irma's sister, Julissa. As we walked in, it was like walking into a scene of an Austin Power's movie; it had multi-level glass floors. Swimming beneath the glass floors were brightly lit fishponds of colorful koi... oh la la. They served an array of Thai and Chinese food; it was an extraordinary experience.
