Second Day in Paris

Jen and I are usually early risers; however, that morning we must had been exhausted from our flight, because we slept in until noon.

Before heading out for the day, we upgraded to a deluxe room (a room I initially requested). We changed rooms from 22 to 62. Our new room located on the top floor had a pleasant view; we could see the top spires of Sacre Coeur.

Later that evening, we boarded a dinner cruise on the Bateaux Parisien (a suggestion from our good friend Colette). The cruise took us on a three-hour tour along the scenic river Seine. Julian, our moderately polite waiter, served up a four-course meal. While underway, a live band enhanced the mood as we enjoyed the "City of Light". It was fantastic!
