Later that evening we got dressed up for dinner and a show. One of the things Jen said she wanted to do was to see the long-time running cabaret, Moulin Rouge. Jen surprised me with this request. I was reluctant for fear it might be a trap; however, being the good self-sacrificing husband that I am... I was more that happy to oblige.
We arrived too late for dinner, but shared a bottle of champagne during the show. We met some really fun people sitting next to us from Brisbane, Australia; it was refreshing to talk to other people who spoke English other than ourselves.
The show, Feerie, was most enjoyable.
