Wednesday I met with Rob Lang my supervisor for my first informal evaluation; we had a very nice talk. Rob read to me a few comments prepared by instrutors, Pete Sneathen and Marc Smith. The report detailed my training performance thus far (mostly positive). The meeting was light hearted; in addition to the evaluation report we shared Boy Scout stories; Rob also shared with me stories of his days in the Air Force. He encouraged me to finish my master's. He assured me that I am in a right place starting my career in EGIM and that with my credentials coupled with what I learn at EGIM I could have a good career at SDG&E.
