Wired Magazine in its May issue did a profile piece on, 36 year-old Nick Denton, a blog mogul and former CEO of moreover.com. He believes that "nanopublishing" is the next greatest thing and attributes its growing popularity to the relatively low upfront costs. Nick says, "It's a lot like funding indie movies." He recently launched two popular blogs gizmodo, a really cool guide for gadget freaks and gawker, a satiric gossip and lifestyle sheet of New York City and other gossip sites. Denton who doesn't advertise or market his blog states, "Weblogs are the most meritocratic form of media the world has ever seen."
