I downloaded the comps cases and queries Friday afternoon. I spent the next couple of hours trying to figure out what questions I would like to answer and decided on answering the first case of "Putting it on the Line", but I had not figured out what query to answer yet, I put it off for Saturday. I spent the rest of the night researching and reading. I left for home at 11 pm...
Saturday I started hitting the books at 8 am. For the next several hours, I continued to read and research. At 1 pm I stopped... thought about where I was with my classes...very behind...I figured that at the pace I was going with the comps I would not finish in time for the Monday at noon deadline. I decided to not to finish comps this semester and to stop trying to kill myself so I could graduate with the department in May.
After making the big decision of waiting to take comps in the fall, I was hungry so I broke for lunch and headed to El Ranchero for a plate of Barbacoa. When I got back, I spent the rest of the weekend catching up on my schoolwork for the semester... I love writing lit reviews.
